Laurena Lacey is a London, UK-based glamour model. She is one of the first Northern Irish born and raised glamour models to become known internationally, indeed the only Irish lady to be a US Playboy Cybergirl or Playmate. Laurena holds Irelands Miss Hawaiian Tropic crown for 2008.
Laurena grew up in Enniskillen, leaving to study A-levels of Travel and Tourism and also Beauty Therapy in her town of Enniskillen. Lacey went on to University to study Property and Construction in Birmingham, England.
Laurena started modelling at the age of 16 with her involvement in hairshows and a catwalk for Tammy girl store. The current Playboy model, initially did not think modeling was a possible career, being 5'4" and from Northern Ireland. As Laurena met more people in the modelling industry, she was encouraged to pursue her dream career.
Laurena made a move to Birmingham, West Midlands, modelling work then became for frequent, being scouted and signed with Supermodel Agency.
Laurena became more known, appearing on the covers and Page 3 of British tabloids and in British Lads, Car and Bike mags. She also worked with Television X, presenting adverts, ads and page 3 style pictorials. The Irish model worked a lot for lingerie companies such as Pabo, and companies from Vodafone, to TV commercials and Computer game producers. In 2007 Laurena has also appeared in the Carmen Electra film "I want Candy" and BBC One's reality TV show Celebrity ScissorHand's,
Laurena then landed a job in the US which led to her first trip promoting in the states. She then went on to tour the US, visiting Los Angeles, Florida, New York City, Chicago, Colorado, Dallas, Houston, New Jersey.
Working photoshoots with Hustler lingerie, Electic Lingerie, various poster and calendar shoots. Laurena worked with Ludacris, Ivanka Trump and Michael Straham for Ed Hardy and Revolution Eyewear. Laurena also made a host appearance at La'boheme club in Denver before her departure home. Since, Laurena has toured to European countries, Poland, Spain, Holland, France, and Germany on various modeling projects.
While in America, Laurena visited the Chicago Playboy office, having met the entire team, she then had a quick test shoot with their in house photographer. In just a few days she was shooting her pictorial for Cyber Girl of the Week, a feature of the Playboy website.
Not long after her return to the UK, Laurena was asked back to the states to participate in a Hollywood Celebrity Catwalk for Noah's Arch animal welfare charity.
