About Christabel Chua
Chua is a Singaporean entrepreneur as well as a social media model, influencer, and content creator. She is the founder of the lifestyle brand, kāi, which launched in 2017. In 2014, Chua participated in Miss Universe Singapore and was part of the top twelve finalists. Chua graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
In May 2018, several intimate and sexually explicit videos of her and her former boyfriend, Joal Ong, were leaked and shared on the internet. Two months later, she addressed the incident in an open letter published in Harper's Bazaar Singapore. In her letter, she stated that the videos were "obtained by an anonymous source."
