About Ivanna Tang

Ivanna Tang (née Benesova) graduated in management and economics from the Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno and later in feature film directing from the Film Academy of Miroslav Ondříček in Písek. She began her creative work as a young girl in primary school, where she created fairy tales, poems, etc. Later, while studying at grammar school, she wrote and acted in plays. She made her first music videos and a two-minute animated film. Similarly, she continued her studies at the University of Brno, where she made her first short films in cooperation with students of the Zlín Film School. K-ON-FLIKT, the director's first feature film, was awarded at film festivals both in the Czech Republic and abroad. During her studies, she made many other works, the most famous of which is the documentary HOW PORN IS DONE. She has worked as a director at TV Nova, shooting clips, commercials and various spots. Her feature debut, ABUSED, was released in cinemas. Besides filmmaking, she also worked as a photographer, but she also liked to have her picture taken, she was a radio presenter, a journalist in magazines, newspapers and various internet portals. Currently she works as Founder, CEO, Director, Producer at Orange TV in Sydney and as Development Producer at Warner Bros. Pictures.
