Jolanda Egger, born on January 8, 1960, in Lucerne, Switzerland, is a multifaceted personality known for her work as an actress, model, beauty queen, and race car driver. She gained prominence as Playboy's Playmate of the Month in June 1983. After a brief marriage to Formula 1 driver Marc Surer, she pursued a racing career. Egger has since married twice more and is also involved in politics, recently running for a seat in the Lucerne city council.

Egger married race car driver Marc Surer in 1986, at the age of 26; they divorced after seven years, in 1993, when she was 33 years old. She married Patrick Tavoli in 1997, when she was aged 37. This marriage also lasted seven years(divorced in 2004, aged 44) and she had two children with Tavoli. The saying often applies about the "The 7-year itch",around which time most marriages end or end in practice, if not on paper. On her 50th birthday in 2010, she married hotel owner Jacques Risi.
