Rhonde Island-born Aimee Sweet began performing at age six, acting and singing in school plays. A few years after graduating from high school she moved to southern California. Sweet's career began at age 19 when she had a chance meeting with Suze Randall. Ironically, she went to Randall's studio to accompany one of her friends, who aspired to be a model. When the photographer met them, however, Randall was instead blown away by Sweet who she called the most beautiful woman she had ever seen. She began modeling for Randall, and soon afterwards was chosen for a centerfold spread in Penthouse magazine. Much to her surprise, she became Penthouse Pet for August 1998, which led to appearances in other men's magazines in the late 90s.

A scout working for the modeling agency Elite had seen her adult magazine shoots and was convinced she had the potential to be a supermodel. Sweet moved to Milan, Italy and began working as a high fashion model at the age of 22. Although tall at 5'8", she was still shorter than most supermodels who average between 5'10" to over 6'0". Because of this she was not booked for many runway shows and only appeared in a few print ads. Growing frustrated she decided to return to the U.S. in 2000. Upon returning to the U.S. she returned to the world of adult modeling and launched her own website. While running her own website, she also modeled for companies such as Ruplemintze, Trashy Lingerie, Mystique-Magazine, and Mac & Bumble, as well as acclaimed adult photographers such as Stephen J. Hicks.

Sweet was mostly a softcore performer with all her sex scenes simulated. The one exception was the 2005 film Hypnotik Illusions. Sweet had been booked to perform in two softcore girl/girl scenes with Jelena Jensen and Justine Joli. Before the shoot, Joli begged Sweet to change it to a hardcore scene and let her perform unsimulated oral on Sweet. Sweet had been considering doing hardcore girl/girl scenes so she agreed with the hopes she would enjoy it and start a new chapter in her career. Sweet though would never do another hardcore scene again before her retirement.

Since her retirement, she has kept a low profile and not maintained any social media or has made an Onlyfans. A friend posted to a porn message board that she got married in 2008 and has two children.
