Monica Anna Maria Bellucci (born September 30, 1964, in Città di Castello, Umbria, Italy) is an Italian actress, fashion, and glamour model. Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful women in the world, she continues to captivate audiences well past her 50th birthday.

Initially pursuing a career in law, Bellucci began modeling while attending the University of Perugia. In 1988, she joined Elite Model Management, and in 1990, she made her acting debut on television. Although many of her early films were Italian productions, she has since appeared in numerous international projects, including her role as Persephone in the Matrix series.

Bellucci has not shied away from on-screen nudity. For example, in Malèna (2000), a fantasy sequence in which a young male actor strips her character completely naked was cut from the U.S. release. However, the original version remains uncut.

At the age of 51, she became the oldest Bond Girl on record—surpassing Honor Blackman (known for her role as Pussy Galore in Goldfinger)—when she portrayed Lucia Sciarra, James Bond’s love interest, in Spectre (2015).

Bellucci married Vincent Cassel in 1999, and the couple divorced in August 2013. She is the mother of two daughters, Deva and Leonie.
