Maria Mazza is an Italian model, dancer, actress, and TV presenter.
Born in the USA, at the age of 5 years she moved with her family to Sant'Anastasia, nearby Naples. She began studying piano at 3 and dance at 6.
In 1996 she placed third in the beauty pageant Miss Italia, winning the title of Miss Elegance. After a brief experience as a model in Milan, she studied acting with Antonio Sanna. In 1997 she participated in the summer show Scirocco on Rai Due as a dancer, and then in Domenica In for two seasons.
Her debut as an actress was in 1998 with a small role in the TV miniseries broadcast by Canale 5, "Anni 50", directed by Carlo Vanzina, with Ezio Greggio. In 2001 she first appeared on the big screen with the film "Stregati dalla luna", directed by Pino Ammendola and Nicola Pistoia, and in a theater show by Fabio Canino, "Fiesta". In 2002, Maria was one of the main performers in the movie "Un amore perfetto", directed by Valerio Andrei.
The following year she was alongside Carlo Conti in the first edition of the show "I raccomandati". After a brief stint in England with the Channel 4 weekly rotogravure "Too fashion", dedicated entirely to gossip, Maria was cast as Daniela in the 2006 movie "Did I leave because I love you too", with Alessandro Siani, directed by Francis Ranieri Martinotti. In March of the same year Maria joined the 15th edition of the widely popular programme "Piazza Grande", on Rai Due, co-hosted with Giancarlo Magalli.
In 2009 she was back to theatre with the comedy "Non mi dire te l'ho detto", directed by Guglielmo Marino. Maria currently hosts her own show on Comedy Central, titled "Parla con la Mazza", and takes part to the Canale 5 show "Avanti un altro", hosted by Paolo Bonolis, where she plays the role of a sexy doctor.
She has been the girlfriend of world famous Italian football player Francesco Totti between 1999 and 2000.
Although she has never posed topless, her breast can be admired in some see-through pictorials published by the magazine Capital.
She placed third in the "Miss Italy" competition in 1996.
