Ashley started out in 2007 as a non-nude/tease model, but very quickly moved to posing topless and, very occasionally, also nude. At the time, she was especially remarkable for her very slim, very toned frame combined with breasts that measured at least HH-cup. It is alleged that by October 2007, she had grown to a 32JJ bra. It was during 2008, however, that she decisively changed the nature of her body shape, gaining over 30lbs in additional weight and planting herself firmly in the "chubby" or "mid-sized" erotica market. When she relaunched her career with the SCORE Group in early 2009, her bra size by then was 36J. Since then there has been a slight weight loss from her previous weight increase and, as of March 2013, her website is once again reporting her bust as being 32JJ/K. Ashley first became known through the website DreamOfAshley.com, which was a site with regularly-updated new material until around August 2008, when links for more than half of that site's previously posted picture sets and videos were removed from the members area. These links then slowly began to be re-posted as if they were new. Shortly after the ceasing of DreamOfAshley as her main site, Ashley reported via her MySpace page that she would be modeling for the SCORE Group, and that her debut pictorial would appear in the April 2009 issue of Voluptuous magazine. Additionally, her first DVD for SCORE, entitled Ashley's First Time, went on sale on February 27, 2009. She was voted Newcomer of the Year in 2009 of both SCORE and Voluptuous magazines by readers and website users, and was first runner-up for the 2010 Voluptuous Model of the Year. As of December 2013, she has appeared in 24 different SCORE Group magazines, including SCORE, Voluptuous, and XLGirls. The most recent unpublished material was posted to the SCORE and XLGirls websites in mid-2011. There have been further posts of Ashley content, but it had all been previously released in one venue or another. She reportedly has not shot any further content since then, but has not officially retired from modeling either. AshleySageEllison.com and DreamOfAshley.com are the two main repositories of her modeling work to date. The former is now a complete archive of all of her pictorial sets and videos with the SCORE Group, after having been a mere placeholder for a number of years; the latter is a complete archive of her pre-SCORE work.
