Deidre Holland is considered one of the most beautiful women ever to do porn by both critics and fans. Her family moved from the Netherlands to Australia when she was 12 and she first started modeling as a teenager there before doing nude modeling in her early 20s. At 23 she entered the burgeoning Australian porn industry starring in a number of Aussie movies that paired famous American male pornstars and female Australian pornstars. Vivid quickly eyed the Dutch beauty and they flew her to America where she signed to be one of their "Vivid Girls". While Holland liked the exposure Vivid gave her, she wanted more ambitious movies and asked to be let out of her contract in 1992. The move would prove to be shrewd since it allowed her in that year to star in her most famous film, VCA's Chameleons with Ashlyn Gere. The film would win several awards and cement Holland as a porn superstar.

Holland left porn at the height of her popularity in 1994. She was married to fellow pornstar Jon Dough from 1989-1994. After her marriage to Dough failed, she began seeing a dentist and moved to Germany to start a family away from porn.
