Donalda Jordan was one of those 1950's men's magazines models and aspiring actresses that has been pretty much lost to history. That's a real shame. She was one of those gals whose sultry stare and buxom figure leapt out at you from the page. When she was on the cover of a magazine (and she was on quite a few), you felt this overwhelming need to pick it up and look inside. She beckoned you with a sly smile that seemed to promised you that even better things were just a few pages away.
This stunning redhead, born near Los Angeles and raised in Florida, started modeling at the age of 18 but unfortunally only stayed at it for a couple of years. But in that time, she provided the world with some great cheesecake photos. Among her highlights were appearances in the October 1960 issue of Playboy in a sections titled "The Girls of Hollywood" and a centerfold/pictorial in the February 1959 issue of Escapade.
Jordan had a real knack for one moment looking elegant and sophisticated and the next looking like she just stepped out of central casting for a juvenile delinquent film. Tight sweaters or a string of pearls; matador pants or a sultry negligée...she looked good in it all!
