Born to a family of entrepreneurs in the field of glass blowing, she developed the intention of becoming a model as a child, moving to Milan when she came of age.
Nineteen years old, in 1998 she won the "Bellissima d'Europa" beauty contest in Positano, as part of the television program "Modamare a Positano". In the fashion industry, she quickly became one of the hottest Italian models in the early 2000s, appearing as a spokesmodel in advertising campaigns for Biopoint, Casall, Eurocace, Jeannot and Yamamay, and landing the covers of the Italian editions of GQ and Maxim.
