Isis Nile grew up in Sherman Oaks, CA, in the San Fernando Valley and attended a Roman Catholic school. She took her name from her Egyptian ancestry. She was working as a makeup artist and part-time model before entering the porn business in July 1993 with Ed Powers' More Dirty Debutantes 28 (1993).
