Laura Palmer got her start in the adult industry when she was 26 years old, and she graced the screen for several years before she retired. She started her career in Europe mostly working for Private. She caught the eye of American studios and she would make the U.S. her home for a number of years while filming numerous movies in the states. She stared in several movies for Vivid. Known also as Sage Kirkpatrick and/or Petra Sexton.

She took the name Laura Palmer because of her belief she looked like the Twin Peaks character. Although she retired in 1998, many of her scenes would continue to be released until 2002.
