Lulu Wilson was born on October 7, 2005, in New York City, New York. She is the youngest of three siblings, having two older sisters. Her early exposure to acting began at a very young age.
Wilson’s acting career started when she was just three years old, performing in commercials. She made her television debut in 2012 with an appearance on the series Louie. Following this, she appeared in various television shows including The Millers, Black Box, and Sharp Objects.
Her film career took off with her debut in the horror genre; she starred in Deliver Us from Evil (2014) and gained significant recognition for her roles in horror films such as Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016) and Annabelle: Creation (2017). Although she was cast in the Marvel film Doctor Strange (2016), her scene was ultimately cut from the final version of the movie.
In 2018, Wilson showcased her talent in Netflix’s horror drama series The Haunting of Hill House, where she played a pivotal role. The following year marked a significant milestone as she took on her first leading role in the action thriller Becky (2020), which further established her as a rising star. In that same year, she portrayed a young Gloria Steinem in the biopic The Glorias.
Wilson continued to expand her repertoire by appearing in an episode of Star Trek: Picard as Kestra Riker and reprised her role as Becky in the sequel titled The Wrath of Becky (2023).
