About Marilu Tolo
She began her career at fifteen, working as a model for fashion designer Emilio Schuberth in 1959; he also showed for Valentino, who, years later, revealed that he had been in love with the actress, although not reciprocated. The following year Schuberth made her debut on television, as Mario Riva's very young valet in the show Il Musichiere, alongside Brunella Tocci. His debut in cinema dates back to 1960, with his participation in the musical film Screamers at the Barre, at the age of 16.
Tall and with an elegant bearing, characterized by a classic beauty and large light eyes, she immediately began to be in great demand on the set, making around thirty films in the sixties alone, mainly belonging to genre cinema (peplum - five titles in 1964 -, spaghetti westerns, horror and spy films, Italian comedies), although there is no shortage of participation in some art films such as Juliet of the Spirits by Federico Fellini, Matrimonio all'italiana by Vittorio De Sica and Sogni e needs of Sergio Citti.
