About Meg Myles
For some, being a glamor model helps their career, for others its the quickest way of being typecast. Such is the case with Meg Myles. In the beginning of her career, she was in heavy demand as a pin-up girl. She was adored by many men's magazine readers, especially G.I.'s for her astounding 42-24-36 measurements. The 1950's, of course, was the era of bosomy glamour girls, and Myles could out-bust the best of them. The problem for Myles was that she wanted to do something more than just look good with her chest sticking out. She tried her hand at the movie and television in the 50's with little success. She then went on to a singing career which was cut short by a false tabloid scandal supposedly involving her and Sammy Davis Jr. In the 1960's she tired her hand once more at movies, appearing in the cult classic Satan In High Heels (1962) along with fellow bombshell Sabrina. Following that, and continuing for the next few decades, Myles found a successful career for herself in theater winning much critical praise.
