MONICA HANSEN. Bio: Norwegian-born 5'11" tall and graced with an exotic genetic combination of Brazilian and Norwegian, she started her modeling career at 14 yrs old. Monica got signed and contracted by the well-known fashion agencies, "Elite," "FORD" and "Wilhelmina." She was a natural for the world of catwalks and photo shoots, and she is today one of the most sought after swim wear models in the world. She has graced over 100 covers of world-renowned magazines, such as "Elle," Maxim, FHM and Esquire. Monica has also expanded her interest into acting. Her on-camera experience includes a 22-episode stint as "Monica Fox" on the syndicated series BATTLEDOME. She has appeared as a guest on E! Entertainment's Talk Soup, Wild on E!, and the Howard Stern Show, and cast in Baywatch as an extra, and having a bit part in the TV series Rude Awakening. Monica's popularity has soared over recent years. She was voted the "Sexiest Woman in the World" and "Sexiest Model in the World" by magazines from Australia to USA, and from South Africa to England. Maxim Germany gave her the title "The Maxim Model of the Year" 2006. She has also appeared in ad campaigns such as those for "Express" clothing and "Bacardi", and is seen in the hit music video "Liar" by Madcon.
Monica is now expanding her career into hosting, and she is busy branding her own name, currently working on her swim wear line, "Monica Hansen Beachwear" 2014 collection.
Monica is the former "Miss Norway" and is the first Norwegian celebrity/ fashion model to be featured in American Playboy (July/Aug 2009 issue). She was also the main character in the Norwegian TV show "Ja, Vi Elsker Hollywood", the host on Vi Stjerners Middag, and on the show "Fangene på Fortet" in her home country.
