Born in Beirut, Lebanon, to an American musician and a Dutch graphologist, she grew up in Italy, where she began her career while still a teenager, making her debut with the film "Water and soap", directed by Carlo Verdone. After a few other films in which she acted in roles that portray her as the typical simple and cheerful girl (including "Compagni di scuola" in 1988, again directed by Carlo Verdone) and after also having worked in some programmes, television dramas and commercials , she moved to Paris, abandoning her career as an actress.
