About Sharon Den Adel

Sharon den Adel (born Sharon Janny den Adel) is the lead singer and song writter for the Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation, formed in 1996. She's been singing since she was 14 and also has a bachelor's degree in fashion design. When she was a child, she and her family moved to various countries, living in at least 10 different countries, including Indonesia and Suriname. When she and her family returned to the Neatherlands from Suriname, she said that she was bullied in school for dressing differently from the other students, her hairstyle, and having a darker skin tone. Rather than fall to the pressure to let go of her history and become like her other schoolmates, she now incorperates ideas from the places of her youth into her musical career and fashion.

Beautiful woman and, sometimes, an excellent singer. Easily the most physically attractive of the "Big 4" of female gothic rock singers - Anneke van Giersbergen (The Gathering), Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil) and Tarja Turunen (Nightwish) being the others, but definitely last in the vocal stakes. Sometimes her voice is excellent, usually when she sticks to the lower scale of her range, but all too often she sounds weak and off key when using her upper register. But you cannot deny she has a beautiful face and a great body!

I love T&A and nudity as much as or more than anyone else on this site, but anyone who writes off Sharon being on here because she doesn't have any nude pics is an idiot. Watch her video for "Faster" from her band Within Temptation. I think it's sexier than any music video ever made. Sharon has the sexy from head to toe, plus that sexy singing voice and accent, but nothing is more arousing than her face in the Faster video. She could blow a volcano with those eyes, that hair, and her smile more than any other naked woman could. I might be hyperbolizing, but seriously, just watch the newer version of the Faster video where they dont cut any of her parts out, and then tell me I'm completely wrong.
