About Shirley Eaton
Shirley Eaton is arguably one of the most memorable, and recognizable, of all the Bond girls, as it was she (portraying Jill Masterson) who got dosed with gold paint and therefore died of "skin asphyxiation." She earned a magazine cover for this, and lasting fame, in addition to the producers' "subtle" bid for an Oscar.
It turns out that fate can't actually happen, but it was certainly a memorable moment in cinema, and helped to cement Ms. Eaton's reputation despite what was only a pretty short role.
