About Sofia Milos
Sofia Milos (pronounced 'Mee-loz') is a Swiss born American actress who is best known for her role as Yelina Salas on the CBS-TV series "CSI: Miami" and for her role as Camorra crime family boss Annalisa Zucca on the HBO TV series "The Sopranos". Her other credits include "Desire", "The Twilight Zone", "Thieves", The Ladies Man, "The Love Boat: The Next Wave", "The Secret Lives of Men", Jane Austen's Mafia! and "Caroline in the City".
She was born in Zurich, Switzerland, to an Italian father and a Greek mother. In her teens she entered a local beauty pageant, and after winning first prize went on to win the provincial, regional and national contests as well. Milos studied acting diligently at the Beverly Hills Playhouse under acting coach Milton Katselas.
She studied business and economics and speaks English, Italian, French and German fluently, also being able to carry a basic conversation in Greek and Spanish.
She is a Scientologist (just like 90% of Beverly Hills Playhouse students).
