About Trinity Loren
In Tribute
Trinity Loren passed away October 24, 1998, due to an overdose of painkillers.
Born Joyce Evelyn McPherson in La Jolla, California, she was a porn star, adult model, and stripper.
After she entered the adult entertainment industry in the mid-1980s, she legally changed her first name to "Roxanne". Then decided on Trinity Loren as her stage Name and started out as a model in various men's magazines, quickly gaining attention due to her natural 38 E cup breasts (this was before breast implants became common). She started working as an porn actress on screen in late 1985, and quickly achieved renown as one of the first starlets of the straight-to-video era of adult films. However, she apparently burned out and was subject to clinical depression.
Her fame was mostly due to her being easy to relate to as a real girl, rather than the stereo-typical fake breasted blondes. Loren's build was slightly overweight, but attractive, pretty but not overwhelming, with very large natural breasts. She specialized in oral and anal sex, as well as lesbian scenes. She was also one of the first mainstream adult stars to appear in videos heavily pregnant and (later) lactating. Prior to this, many adult films with the pregnancy/milking theme were available only as underground 8mm loops or fringe fetish short films.
Loren shared a short marriage to Barry Woods (who also appeared in adult films under the pseudonym of Shane Hunter), with whom she had a daughter, Tess, born 1990. After their divorce, she moved to Texas, seeking a quiet life. Unfortunately, Woods and McPherson were fighting over the custody rights of their child; she lost.
She moved back to California to be closer to Tess. She returned to appearing in men's magazines including Hustler's Busty Beauties. It is sometime after this that she sought help for her various drug addictions. As a part of her rehabilitation treatment Loren was working on an autobiography, which was never finished.
Trinity Loren died on October 24, 1998 due to an overdose of prescription painkillers. She was interred in the Oakwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Chatsworth, California under her legal name, "Roxanne McPherson".
