A war orphan, childhood friend of Walter Chiari (they were neighbors in Verona), she made her debut in the world of entertainment with photo novels. Her film debut came in 1954, with a small role in the episodic comedy film Laughing! LAUGH! LAUGH!. From the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s she acted in approximately fifty films. She also participated in the Miss Universe pageant in 1957, where she came fourth.
