About Yuan Herong

Yuan is currently a doctor and a former professional competitive bodybuilder and model. As a child, Yuan was a big fan of Kung Fu films and wanted to grow up to be an expert in the martial art. But her parents convinced her to follow in their own footsteps of going into medicine instead, so she studied to become a doctor. While learning medicine, she continued to dream about becoming a Kung Fu master, which lead her into studying health and fitness. As a result, Yuan got into professional body building and fitness modeling, as well as body building competitions. Because of the size of her legs, she became known as the real life Chun Li (after the Japanese fighting game character from Street Fighter 2), which lead her into cosplaying martial arts video game characters like Chun Li and Mai Shiranui. All the while, she continued to study medicine and became a doctor. Currently, as of 2020, she reports on being on the front lines of fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. She still plans on learning Kung Fu professionally.
