Babepedia Ranking Algorithm Discussion

Let’s dive into the details of our ranking system, because we want to hear your opinion on how we can our babes.

Our current ranking system is pretty simple: once a babe has 25 valid votes, she can rank in our top lists. The result is that a newcomer may shoot up to a top spot in our top 100. Many of them, especially new number ones, get voted down very quickly. If a handful of people decide she’s not worthy by voting under 5/10, she will probably never reach the top 25 again.

Since we started tracking the #1 babe in a separate list in August 2020, we have seen 252 models reach the #1 spot. Around 200 of them only stayed in the #1 spot for a single day.

If you aim to have a top list where newcomers regularly get a shot at a high listing, but a small minority can shoot them down, then this is a good system. If you aim for more stability where only proven, famous babes with many votes can list high, the system can be improved.

Which of these Babepedia features do you want to see most?

Hey readers! Today, we would like to ask you a question. Behind the scenes, we are constantly improving the site. There are a couple of big ideas on our list for the future. We want to ask you which feature you’d like to see most on our site. We have compiled a list based on the ideas page and our own ideas. Please pick one and submit your vote. If you’d like, you can add some comments with feedback or more ideas.

The options are:

  • Photo Ratings – Allowing the user to rate every photo on the site, either with a thumbs up/down or a score. This will allow us to automatically switch main profile photos (among the maximum number of 4 currently) or remove poorly received photos.
  • Personal Top 10 Ranking – Allowing users to define a ranking order in the personal lists.
  • Babepedia’s Hottest List – This idea is very user-focused and is still being worked on. Here’s what we have in mind: Each user can “boost” one babe per day. This gives that babe 10 points. The Hottest List is sorted by the total number of points. At the end of the day, every babe’s score halves. We’re still looking for a good name for this list. The Hottest List is just an idea.
  • Chatbox – Some discussions on the site tend to go off-topic. We can add a dedicated chatbox where users can go off-topic. We can go even further and make it like a message board/forum.
  • Improved Bra/cup Size Handling – We’ve put this idea on the shelf for a while because we think it’s easy to mess this up. Perhaps it’s time to focus on it.
  • User Rating System – Here, we rank the users based on their contributions. Every action gives you some points (positive or negative), and the ranks are decided by the total score. This would be visible next to comments and on the profile page, but it can also determine what kind of access you have. This goes hand in hand with the following item…
  • Improved Biography Editing – We allow anyone to edit biographies. With this system, users with a good contribution history (or a good rating) would receive extra features, such as seeing all the versions of a biography in a revision history  (already being tested now) and choosing another main profile photo.

This poll has ended (since 5 months).
