Last year, this was the third most requested item in our poll about which new features you wanted to see most:
- Personal Top 10 Ranking – Allowing users to define a ranking order in the personal lists.
It took a while, but we finally added this. You can now go to your list, click the ‘Edit’ link at the bottom, and start dragging and dropping to define the order of your list. It’s not limited to a top 10: it works on any list size. So you can make your top 10, top 100, or even top 1000.
This allows you to convert any list into a top 10 or 100, … Once an order is defined, the ‘Ordered’ option is enabled, and your list is presented as a ranked list.
You can also reach the list editing by clicking the pen icon next to ‘My Lists’ to go to the User list management page and then ‘Edit List’ for the one you want to edit.
When downloading any list from the User list management, an ordered list will also include the position in your list.
‘My Favorites’ is excluded from this, as it uses another system. We may convert this to the same system at some point in the future.

We really like this new feature and hope you do too. Let us know in the comments.
It’s still very new, so please expect some bugs. If you find any, let us know in the comments too.
I don’t understand how it works ๐ฐ! It’s a little bit complicated but I will try๐. But why top ten and not top 20โพ๏ธ?
It works on any list size. This was mentioned in the blog post, but I’ve clarified it a bit.
You wrote it’s a bit complicated. Please let us know which steps are challenging to understand. Perhaps we can make it easier to understand.
That’s pretty cool. I appreciate the hustle and grind you all have to make something like this possible along with other features.
Hopefully it will only work on private lists
