About Louise Cliffe
Louise Cliffe (born December 9, 1986, in Manchester, England, U.K.) is a British glamour model, actress, singer, and writer. Although much of her career has been in the U.K., she started to appear in U.S. productions as of 2009.
Louise Cliffe, dubbed Manchester's Kelly Brook, was born in 1986 in Middleton, Greater Manchester. Louise attended “Our Lady’s” Catholic High School in Middleton, where she was a talented athlete becoming Manchester Hurdles Champion on three occasions. She still enjoys athletics and credits that as helping her keep her body in shape. According to an interview in OK! magazine, she plans to enter the 2010 London Marathon.
Her measurements are 36DD-24-34. She competed in the Miss Manchester 2006 contest and won the title. Controversy followed as she was stripped of her title a matter of weeks later as she had previously worked as a glamour model, notably appearing in Loaded in the March 2005 edition and on Page Three last in the 3rd June 2005 issue, appearing topless in both. She was tipped to be the first Manchester born Miss England since Beverley Isherwood in 1976. The same year, she won the coveted Miss Maxim UK 2006.
Louise is one of the original Candy Girls of the CandyCrib. Along with Kayleigh Pearson, Claire Andrisani, Natalie Oxley, Hannah Joy Lewis, Jodie Nicholls, and Krystle Gohel, she spent most of 2005 living in the CandyCrib - a reality TV show featuring the UK's top glamour models. Photo shoots for the on-line section and a weekly video diary have further increased her reputation as a world class glamour model.
Louise retired from topless modelling in 2008. She was rapidly picking up the reputation of the Cream of Manchester before deciding to call a halt to her pin-up career and concentrate more on commercial projects. According to the Daily Star, Louise is tipped to be the next U.K. beauty making it big over the pond, having just signed a megabucks modelling contract with an American agency Elite Models in Miami and about to commit to Victoria's Secret for swimwear campaigns, as of the 7th January 2010. She is one of the very few models to have done erotic and then successfully switch to commercial fashion and glamour modelling.
Louise now models commercially worldwide and has been the face of many campaigns including Ann Summers, Avon, Fantasia lingerie, Littlewoods, Trinny and Susannah’s range. Due to her success it is unclear if Louise will ever go topless again.
Louise first appeared on the small screen as a Soccer AM Manchester United Soccerette. She went on to appear in a Cameo role in Britflick Charlie Noades RIP, 2009, Northstar Productions. After which her career came on in leaps and bounds as she has started to secure Hollywood work as of 2009. Her big break stateside came when she landed a role in Wrong Turn 3, Universal Studios. Her latest role came in the 20th Century Fox release Annihilation Earth (Doomsday), starring alongside Luke Goss.
Louise recorded her first single in 2009, which was a collaborative effort with The Social Network and released on Green garden Records. The piece is a social commentary of the faceless/only face nature of social dating, Louise appears as 5 different characters in the Video release.
