Anna Ventura was an American nude model and porn star. One of the biggest emerging stars in porn in the early to the mid-1980s, she was born in Spain, and raised in New York City. Ventura was around for only a short time but managed to collect quite a huge fan following. However, as quickly as her star rose, it just as quickly disappeared, with Ventura apparently leaving the adult entertainment industry by 1989, reportedly, to marry and have a family.

Anna Ventura was born October 22, 1956 in Barcelona, Spain. Her father was Irish/German American and her mother Italian American. She was the youngest of four siblings, and attended High Schools in both Canoga Park and Granada Hills, later matriculating at Pierce college in Woodland Hills.

Ventura started her adult career in December 1979, and quickly became one of the most successful print models in the business. She appeared in the more well-known magazines such as Penthouse, Oui and Hustler, as well as a variety of lesser-known titles, sometimes multiple times over due to her popularity.

She declined to hardcore until she got an offer she couldn't refuse for Bad Girls, starring opposite Pia Snow (who later became even more well-known as Scream Queen Michelle Bauer). The movie ended up being one of the biggest hits of the year. She was very selective with her Hardcore work, saying she had the most fun working with director, Fred Lincoln. She ended up living with him and his then-girlfriend, Tiffany Clark, in NYC for a time.

In 1983, Ventura decided to retire from the business, although not completely, and was rumored to be dating one of the editors of one of bigger rock music magazines at the time, and by the late 80s, she'd gotten married and begun having children, eventually four, three girls and a boy, just like her parents.

She led a low-profile life as a wife and mom until the early 2000s, when she came across a Yahoo Group dedicated to her, and joined up. Members were initially suspicious as to whether it was actually her or not, as she was posting under the name, "Patti", but she proved it was her by posting a current photo of herself. She said she was mostly positive about her career, especially enjoyed the modeling, and the friends she made. She was also pleased people still remembered her and her work.

It did, however, cause her some problems later on. In the midst of a divorce and custody case with her husband, he tried to use her adult career against her in court. Eventually the group was deleted, and Anna went back into anonymity.

She moved around quite a bit, before finally settling in North Carolina and marrying her third husband in 2017. She was a motorcycle riding enthusiast and rode often. Four days after she passed away, her children, grandchildren, husband and friends, as well as her oldest daughter, who also enjoys motorcycle riding, put her mother's motorcycle jacket on and took a ride in her honor as well.
