Asher Keddie is an Australian actress. She is best known for her role as Dr Nina Proudman in the TV drama series Offspring, and as Detective Liz Cruikshank in the 2009 TV crime drama series Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities. Her significant repertoire in television has led to her being dubbed as the 'Golden Girl of Australian Television'. She also had a small role as Dr. Carol Frost in the 2009 superhero film X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
She won the Logie Award for Most Popular Actress five times in a row between 2011 and 2015. Most notably, she won the 2013 Gold Logie award for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television. she had previously been nominated twice for the award.
She has appeared nude on-screen at least three times to date; firstly in the 2003 short film Alice, then in the TV drama series Love My Way during its second season in 2006, and lastly in the 2010 political biopic TV film Hawke.
