About Cheryl Rixon

Cheryl Rixon (born 12 October 1954 in Perth, Western Australia) is an Australian actress and glamour model. She was chosen as a Penthouse Pet of the Month in 1977 and later as Pet of the Year in 1979.

In the early 1970s, she was twice a finalist in the Annual Miss West Coast bikini beauty pageant, staged in Perth each January. She was described as a "bombshell", and later appeared as a game show helper on local TV.

After appearing in obscure low-budget sex-comedy film Plugg (1975), shot in Perth, Rixon came to Melbourne and acted in several television roles for Crawford Productions. She played three different roles during the final episodes of Homicide. Her appearances did not feature much in the way of dialogue or characterisation and the focus was on showcasing her attractive figure in revealing costumes.

Starting in mid-1975 Rixon also began making appearances in Crawford Production's sex-comedy soap opera The Box. Playing television starlet Angela O'Malley, Rixon made several nude appearances in the series. Rixon left The Box towards the end of 1975, but returned for a three month stint starting February 1976.

She subsequently found fame as a nude pin-up model. She was Penthouse magazine's December 1977 Pet, and in 1979 she was chosen Penthouse's Pet of the Year in a televised pageant held at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. In July 1980 Cheryl kicked off New York Mayor Ed Koch's "Festival of Fragrances". She was again showcased with a ten-page spread in Penthouse in 1980, and posed for Oui Magazine in November 1982. During this period she appeared in films such as The Eyes of Laura Mars and Used Cars.

She did not receive the Penthouse prizes promised, and in 1985 took the company to the New York State Supreme Court which ruled that she was entitled to them. The judgment was later affirmed on appeal.

Rixon now lives in the US and designs jewelry which she sells under the name of Royal Order. She is married to club owner Art Davis.

As a teenager my mother opened my bedroom door without knocking whilst l was pleasuring myself look at Cheryl Rixon, she quickly closed the door. The next day returning from school my mother had found my penthouse magazines under my mattress and placed them neatly on the bedside table with a large box of tissues, l was so embarrassed. My mother entered the room trying not to laugh, she said it was absolutely normal to do what l was doing, she told me she had looked at all the pictures of the nude ladies and was shocked at how beautiful they all were, my mother asked which was my favourite l told it was Cheryl Rixon, we looked at these very photos of her and my mother said l had impeccable taste in women, she told me that Cheryl was absolutely gorgeous. We had a mother and son chat about respecting women and both agreed all the women in the magazines we beautiful and all were ladies. lam grateful to my mother for teaching me to respect all women.

Great story. When my fiance found out I liked Penthouse / Playboy she was furious. I asked her to look at a Playboy with me (July 1995, Playmate Heidi Mark). She was so turned on by the experience that before I knew what happened, we were having some of the wettest sex we'd ever had. We bounced back and forth between feeling guilty about it to using porn to fuel our sex life. These days I do 4 stroke tournaments (I open up different tabs with photos of different women, give each image 4 strokes, then toggle back and forth; the woman who makes me climax advances to the next round). I discovered Cheryl Rixon while doing a tournament for the Penthouse Pets of 1977. Cheryl was one of my favorites, although Debora Zulo won the tournament. I was hoping for a matchup of Cheryl Rixon and Christine Davray, because both are so hot, but that is one the fun things about the tournaments; I never know where they will take me. I will always pine for the Rixon / Davray match I so desperately wanted and never got.

Found her Pet layout in a shoebox in Dad’s closet… first bush I ever saw. She will always have a special place in the memory.
