She was chosen as Penthouse's first US Pet of the Month in September 1969 and later became the first US Pet of the Year in 1970.

Penthouse had already been publishing in the United Kingdom since 1965. The centerfold, or Pet of the Month for the first American edition was a quintessential 60's brunette, Evelyn Treacher.
Ms. Evelyn Treacher was Pet of the Month for September 1969 in the magazine with the keys. Bob Guccione chose a fine lady for his debut issue in North America.
