With a Neapolitan father and a German mother from Estonia (the sculptor Ilse Renate Krause), she is the older sister of the actress Ornella Muti. Cultivates a hobby of naïve genre painting. She took part in only one film, Twice Judas (1969), although she was close to the cinema as the wife of a Spanish producer married in 1974, from whom she later divorced.
