About Georgina Spelvin

Georgina Spelvin had a varied career before becoming involved in porn, where she worked in a myriad of jobs in the entertainment industry; she started out making her film debut in a bit role in the 1957 B-Movie "The Twilight Girls", which also marked the Hollywood film debut of Hollywood actress Catherine Deneuve. Her career also included a stint working as a dancer on Broadway. When performance offers dwindled, she worked in theater production as a choreographer, director, and lighting technician in a number of musicals, which led to the underground film scene.

She was part of the close-nit early 70's New York City porn scene where all the cast members knew each other offset.

Her autobiography "The Devil made me do it" covers her life before porn and how she got involved in her most famous porn film (The Devil and Miss Jones). She was originally hired to provide catering for the film crew and ended up being the star of the movie.
