Kaya Rose Scodelario-Davis is an English actress. She is best known for her roles in Skins (2007–2010, 2013) and The Maze Runner film Arrangement (2014–2018). She was born on 13 March 1992 in Hayward Heath, West Sussex, England. Kaya Scodelario is 30 years old. Her mother, Katia Scodelario, is a Brazilian who moved to England in 1990; Scodelario’s surname comes from her mother’s Italian grandfather. Her father, Roger Humphrey (who died on 22 November 2010), was British. When she was young, her parents separated and her mother raised her in London, thus acquiring her last name and becoming familiar with Portuguese.
Kaya Scodelario was 14 years old and had no acting experience. During the audition, she was disappointed because she thought she was too young, but a producer asked her to stay and she was asked to read the part. While Scodelario had a minor role in the first series, her character developed significantly during 2008. She eventually became a central character in the 2009 and 2010 series, when the cast was replaced with a new generation of characters.
She portrayed Ted Bundy's wife Carol Ann Boone in 2019. She acted on Alexandre Ajani’s horror film, Crawl, which was filmed in Belgrade and released in July 2019 to positive reviews.
