About Lene Alexandra
Lene Alexandra Øien (born October 29, 1981 in Trøgstad, Norway) is a Norwegian singer and model for FHM magazine, as well as for Norwegian lad's mags Lek and Cats. She began her musical career in 2007 at age 25 when she released her first single entitled "My Boobs Are OK." The single charted in several European countries and broke the top 10 in Norway and Finland. Alexandra speaks Norwegian as well as English and Swedish and has done promotion in both Norwegian and English alike. She now works as a fitness trainer and nutritionist, and founded LA Lifestyle.
At age 14, Lene Alexandra appeared on television for the first time on a Norwegian talent show called Juniorsjansen. Upon seeing other talented singers and musicians, the experience only left her feeling insecure and discouraged and therefore she had given up on her dreams of a music career for the first time. At 19 she began nude modeling and also appeared on the Norwegian counterpart of popular show "Survivor". She made friends with the host who also has his own record label, and offered to work at the label free without a salary as long as one day she might be able to make music with them. After years of working at the record company, she began her music career and released her first single "My Boobs Are OK."
A stir in the media was effected when Øien and Norwegian glamour model Aylar Lie came forward with claims of having had sex with pop star Robbie Williams who later, on Norwegian television, debunked their hoax, stating however, "They were fucking gorgeous. I would have slept with them." The media nevertheless had a field day with the story which even made the front page of the British tabloid newspaper The Sun.
Lene Alexandra was an entrant in the Norwegian national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2008. Lene Alexandra sung the song "Sillycone Valley." She didn't make it to the final, even after getting a second chance.
