About Linda Wong
Linda Wong (born Linda Carol Seki) September 13, 1951 – December 17, 1987) was an American pornographic actress, and one of the first Asian Americans to become a star in the American adult film industry. In 1999, she was inducted into the XRCO Hall of Fame. She was of Japanese ethnicity.
San Francisco-born Linda Wong was the first Asian to become a star in the adult film industry. She broke into porn in the mid-'70s--one of her pre-porn jobs was as a staffer in the office of famed San Francisco attorney Melvin Belli--and her sultry, exotic and striking looks and full-throttle performances captivated audiences virtually from the beginning, propelling her into the ranks of the industry's superstars. She worked with the top names in the industry, including John Holmes, Joey Silvera and Georgina Spelvin. In 1981, at the top of her career, she suddenly left the business--supposedly at her then-boyfriend's insistence--but returned a few years later. She battled a drug addiction during her porn career and died of an accidental drug overdose in 1987.
