About Michele Tafoya
Was a sideline reporter for the major sports networks. As a sports journalist she won five emmy awards.
At her first job at a radio station in North Carolina she used the name “Mickey Conley.” Her co-host thought it was catchier, so that the show could be called “Jerry V. and the Mick.” Conley was chosen because they didn’t think Tafoya was going to work well; they thought it was too ethnic. So she used her mom’s maiden name.
After leaving sports in 2022 she works as a conservative political advisor and makes television appearances on talk shows discussing the state of American politics and culture.
Tafoya describes herself as a "pro-choice conservative with libertarian leanings."
