In 1987, she began working as a model and actress in advertising. The Brazilian Playboy of January 1989 brought on the cover the muse of the summer of that year, the model Nani Venâncio. She had been discovered by the nightlife impresario Chico Recarey, conquered the beaches of Rio de Janeiro and, later, the heart of Prince Felipe of Spain. She had also been revered by the European press, appearing on the cover of three Spanish Interviu magazines.
In 1990, Nâni appeared in the opening of the telenovela Pantanal, on Rede Manchete. In the same year, she debuted as an actress in the miniseries O Canto das Sereias and, subsequently, she was in O Guarani and presented the VT Show.On TV Globo he acted in Olho no Olho and Incident in Antares. Between 1994 and 1997, she presented Nani Mulher on Rede Mulher. In 1997 she performed her last work as an actress in the soap opera Mandacaru, on Rede Manchete.

From 1999 onwards she became a presenter, commanding Questão de Opinião on RecordTV and Altos Papos on RedeTV! Since 2009 he has presented A Tarde é Show, on RBTV.

She tried twice for a political career in 2012 and 2014 without success.
