About Sharon Stone
Sharon Vonne Stone is an American actress, producer, and former fashion model born on March 10, 1958, in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Raised in a working-class household, she was academically gifted, entering the second grade at age five and later earning a scholarship to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania at age fifteen to study creative writing and fine arts. After winning the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, she chose to leave higher education behind to move to New York City, where she successfully signed with the Eileen Ford Modeling Agency and modeled internationally before transitioning into film.
Her film and television biography covers more than four decades of versatile dramatic and action performances. She made her feature film debut as an extra in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" in 1980, followed by her first speaking role in the horror feature "Deadly Blessing" in 1981. Throughout the 1980s, she built her resume by starring in "Irreconcilable Differences" in 1984, "King Solomon's Mines" in 1985, and "Action Jackson" in 1988. She achieved a major sci-fi action milestone by playing Lori, the undercover wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger's protagonist, in "Total Recall" in 1990. Stone catapulted into massive global superstardom and definitive sex symbol status when director Paul Verhoeven cast her as the brilliant, manipulative crime novelist Catherine Tramell in the erotic thriller blockbuster "Basic Instinct" in 1992, earning her a Golden Globe nomination. She followed this box office peak by starring in the suspense thrillers "Sliver" in 1993 and "The Specialist" in 1994, and she produced and led the Western feature "The Quick and the Dead" in 1995. Stone reached an absolute critical pinnacle when she starred as the volatile Ginger McKenna in Martin Scorsese's epic gangster drama "Casino" in 1995, a powerhouse performance that earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and an Academy Award nomination. Her subsequent major credits include "Sphere" in 1998, "The Muse" in 1999, "Catwoman" in 2004, "Alpha Dog" in 2006, and "The Disaster Artist" in 2017. On television, she won a Primetime Emmy Award for her guest-starring role as Sheila Carlisle on "The Practice" in 2003, recurred on "The Flight Attendant" in 2022, and achieved further acclaim by playing Lendina in the action sequel "Nobody 2" in 2025. She also joined the principal cast of the premium drama series "Euphoria" in 2026, playing Patricia Lance, and premiered her acclaimed dramatic film "Fjords" at the Cannes Film Festival in 2026.
While she does not possess a traditional commercial music discography or a solo pop career, her iconic on-screen presence has made a significant impact on mainstream music video culture and avant-garde recording projects. She lent her voice to spoken-word artistic compositions for the experimental humanitarian track "Our Flag" by the musician Ibrahim Maalouf in 2022. Additionally, she returned to her femme fatale roots to star as a glamorous, high-society figure in the music videos for "You Only Love Me" by Rita Ora in 2023 and the blues-rock track "Death Valley High" by Orville Peck and Beck in 2024.
Personal information regarding her family and private life centers on her resilience through severe health crises and her dedication to philanthropy. Stone was married to television producer Michael Greenburg from 1984 to 1990, and later to newspaper editor Phil Bronstein from 1998 to 2004. Following a near-fatal vertebral artery dissection and brain hemorrhage in 2001 that forced her to spend years re-learning how to walk and speak, she expanded her family through private adoption, raising her three sons named Roan, Laird, and Quinn. She is the second of four children born to Dorothy and Joseph Stone, and she suffered deep family heartbreaks with the passings of her younger brother Patrick in 2023 and her oldest brother and former co-star Michael in May 2026. Aside from her Hollywood career, Stone is an accomplished fine art painter who holds regular gallery exhibitions, an author who published her memoir "The Beauty of Living Twice," and a global ambassador for the Foundation for AIDS Research.
Throughout her multi-decade trajectory under the public microscope, Stone has remained exceptionally vocal about aging gracefully, navigating ageism in Hollywood, and surviving physical trauma. A notable quote regarding her relationship with her status as a pop culture icon underscores her fierce independent mindset: "I act for free, but I demand a salary as compensation for all the annoyance of being a public personality because when people don't know who you are, they guess, and they tend to guess wrong." Reflecting on her shift toward fine art and reclaiming her autonomy later in life, she famously observed: "I spent many years trying to fit the perfect mold that Hollywood demanded of me, but after looking death in the eye, I realized that true power comes from being completely comfortable in your own skin, speaking your mind, and refusing to let anyone else dictate your value."

Yep, i'd play hide the helmet with her any day. Embodies the exception to the maxim "you can only have your chips done so many ways." Apart from the obvious drop-dead looks, she has a hint of wildness about her which suggests if you didn't treat her right, you'd wake up one morning with a thumping headache, to look up and see your meat-and-two-veg in a jar of formaldehyde on the mantle-piece! She's doing art now....apparently it's the real McCoy too, so I probs couldn't afford it. V Interesting woman.
While i'm at it, probs alone in this, but...I happen to think Basic Instinct 2 is better than the original - defo cult status - bit silly at the end, but rich vein of quotes. David Thewlis's "When you get bored of the smell of 'er pussy, ask yourself the question....Do you trust 'errr?" is a real hoot, and conveys an eternal truth in the politics of lady lurvvv.

Her profile needs some pics when she was young. I gave her a 3 based on her current pics, then checked her out from the 90s and gave her a 6. She was alright in Basic Instinct and Casino.

Altrough i agree that they should put more photo of her prime. But she is still beautiful to this Day. 6 sounds more appropriate to me.
