About Sofia Boutella
Sofia Boutella (Arabic: صوفيا بوتلة; born April 3, 1982) is an Algerian-French dancer, model and actress. She is best known for her supporting roles in Hollywood action films, most notably as Gazelle in Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014), Jaylah in Star Trek Beyond (2016), and Delphine Lasalle in Atomic Blonde (2017).
Since 2017, Boutella has been recognized as "the best new action star" of the year and a "breakout action star." She has subsequently appeared in more leading roles, including Princess Ahmanet in The Mummy (2017), an international assassin in Hotel Artemis (2018) and as the leader of a dance troupe in Climax (2018).
In 2022, she starred alongside Peter Weller in Guillermo Del Torro’s Cabinet of Curiosities as the mysteriously alluring Dr. Zahra- in an absolutely life changing episode entitled “The Viewing” (Directed by Panos Cosmatos).
