I have a question. Since the 1950s into the 1990s playmates and models only gave their bust measurements specifically. And it seems that since the 90s women started to put the letter into the data sheets too, but this is a cheap trick many models use nowadays. In a CUP SIZE, the number is ALWAYS the band size measurement around the ribcage,circumference of the body below the breast, and the letter after it signifies how many inches more the bust measurement is around the fullest part of the breast, circumference wise around the body. Each letter gives 1 inch, this is the system of any cup size always. if the difference is half an inch, you round it up. And if the band size is an uneven number like 27,29,31,33,35,37,39 etc, then you round it up to the closest even number.


Miriam Gonzalez for ex put down 34DDD under her cup size in March 2001, Traci Adell in July 1994 put 36D. But the data sheet did NOT ask for cup size, it asked for BUST, and for decades that was the measurement given,measured around the bust. That is NOT the cup size. A cup means 1 inch between band and bust measurements, B cup means 2, C cup is 3, 4 is D cup, 5 is E, 6 is F etc.

Miriam wrote 34DDD aka 34F...but if she gave her calculated cup size( which 80% of women do not known and have never measured band and bust size, to know their cup size, studies show), then that means 34 is her band size. Given she is not a very thin woman,then it is more likely than 28 inches around the ribcage. But that means, given she gave DDD, 6 inches added to the band size, so her bust measurement is then 40 inches. NOT 34.
Many models however put the bust measurement and then put the letters in the end to create an illusion of a bigger cup size than they have. For example if her bust was 34, that means she is a 28DDD aka 28F, which are small breasts as far as volume, than 34F cups.
Tracy Adell says 36 D, so either she has a 40 inch bust,or in fact 32D as her cup size,with a 32 inch band size..


So which one do these 2 women use and women in general? I highly doubt they calculated it all. They simply,as always in the past, most likely gave their bust measurement simply, and then the letter,because they were told at a store buying bras that they are that cup size letter. Given how 80% of women do not even know their size.


So do they add the letter to just show the difference in inches between band and bust measurements,but the number itself is the bust measurement(thus incorrectly written,as you never put the letter to a bust measurement)... or the actual CUP size , where they measured both band and bust and put down the BAND number,and letter showing the inch difference with bust??


I think it is THE KEY QUESTION for 30 years now as to what women are doing when they put those letters there. Do they themselves even know or are they indeed using this to inflate their cup size with such a trick
