Much of it is an act... the for me worrying bit is that they consider what they do to be a job comparable to that of being a nurse, a teacher, a doctor, etc.

And then people wonder why nobody wants to be a doctor... because not enough people wants to be. What drives many of them is the insane craving for luxury. And it also shows. The idea of having your own business and deciding your own workflow, etc.

Problem with that is it drains everything else of labour force.
