Indian actress who is primarily active in Bhojpuri films and, is a recipient of several awards.[1][2] Singh is known for her roles in films like action drama Tabadala, political drama Sarkar Raj and action romance Satya. She is one of the highest-paid actresses in Bhojpuri cinema. Singh made her acting debut opposite Ravi Kishan in the 2010 action drama Satyamev Jayate. She subsequently appeared in 2011 family drama Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye.Singh also appeared in the 2016 romantic drama A Balma Bihar Wala opposite Khesari Lal Yadav and in 2017 Action Drama Satya, Tabadla, Maa Tujhe Salaam opposite Pawan Singh.
Singh first appeared in Hindi television in 2015 on Kaala Teeka and Service Wali Bahu on Zee TV. Singh subsequently played the role of Gandhari in the Indian

historical epic Suryaputra Karn and Kadika for the historical show Porus on Sony TV.

Controversies • Leaked MMS: In April 2023, Akshara came into the headlines after her alleged MMS went viral on the internet. Apparently, in the video, Akshara was seen in an inappropriate condition with her boyfriend. Later, in an interview, Akshara termed the reports as baseless and said that since 2018, a group in the industry was constantly trying to defame her. She said,
For me such struggle has started from the initial days of work. Earlier when something like this used to happen, it used to be thought who would get into legal trouble, but now it seems that people have started taking advantage of the silence wrongly.’ he/she said- Now these things cannot be tolerated."
Further, she added that people were forcing her to become another Akanksha Dubey. Reportedly, in 2018 also, she was in news for her leaked MMS. [3]

• An FIR against Ritesh Pandey: In May 2020, Akshara filed an FIR in the Sarnath police station in Uttar Pradesh against the Bhojpuri actor and singer Ritesh Pandey. In her complaint, she accused Ritesh of misbehaving with her, assaulting her, and threatening to kill her during the shooting of a song. [4]

• Tussle with Pawan Singh: Following Akshara's break up with Pawan Singh after his second marriage, Akshara filed a police complaint against Pawan, alleging that Pawan wanted to destroy her career. She also alleged that Pawan forced her to continue dating him even after his second marriage and when Akshara refused his offer, he physically assaulted her and also threatened to kill her under the influence of alcohol.
