Marilyn Lange is a former model and actress who gained fame as Playboy's Playmate of the Month for May 1974 and as Playmate of the Year in 1975. Born on January 12, 1952, in Westfield, New Jersey, she became widely known for her natural beauty and charm, captured in her pictorials by photographer Dwight Hooker​.

At the height of her popularity, Marilyn lived in Hawaii and enjoyed playing soccer recreationally. In a now-infamous publicity stunt, the Chicago Sting of the North American Soccer League (NASL) drafted her in the final round of the 1976 NASL College Draft.
