About Filipa Areosa
Filipa Areosa is a portuguese actress who was born on July 12th, 1990, in Santarém, Portugal.
In the summer of 2011, she and many other people made an inscription in a casting for the ninth and final season of the portuguese youth TV series "Morangos com Açúcar", broadcast in the fourth portuguese TV channel, TVI. Then, in September 2011, she made her official debut, for the first time in her life, as a TV actress in the ninth and final season of the portuguese youth TV series "Morangos com Açúcar", in the role of the protagonist "Ana Rita Soares". With the end of the TV series "Morangos com Açúcar", in September 2012, Filipa became part of the main cast of the Portuguese telenovela "Mundo ao Contrário", also previously broadcast on TVI, in 2013, as "Lara Malta Carvalho".
Between 2013 and 2014, she also participated in the iconic TV series about Portuguese rock music, which spoke about the 1980s in Portugal - "Os Filhos do Rock" - previously broadcast on the first channel of the public television service RTP1, as "Beatriz Tomás de Almeida".
Returning to the portuguese telenovelas, between September 2014 and September 2015, she was also part of the main cast of "Mar Salgado", written by Inês Gomes, and previously broadcast on SIC, as "Madalena Correia Pelicano".
Between September 2016 and September 2017, she was also part of the main cast of the telenovela "Amor Maior", also previously broadcast on SIC, as "Mafalda Resende", besides of playing the role of the protagonist "Cristina Lindo" in the TV series "Aqui Tão Longe", by Filipe Homem Fonseca, and also broadcast on the first Portuguese public television service channel RTP1, in 2016.
From September 2019 until July 2020, Filipa was part of the main cast of the first season of "Nazaré", written by Sandra Santos, and broadcast Monday to Friday, at night, on SIC, as "Bárbara Soares", one of the so-called telenovela's main villains.
