Mercedes Ambrus (Budapest, 13 May 1973) is a Hungarian model and pornographic actress.
She began at a very young age as a model and model for major Italian brands, such as Fiorucci, and for internationally renowned magazines such as People.
In 1989 she met Riccardo Schicchi, one of the main talent discoverers in the hardcore field who introduced her to his agency Diva Futura. Unlike the rest of the staff however, Ambrus stood out for having chosen the path of soft eroticism, offering the public the image of the "chaste" porn star which she has maintained over the years even in the films in which she was the protagonist, acting in only softcore scenes. She is also known for having rejected the role of Tender is the Flesh by director Tinto Brass, fearing that the character she was going to play could compromise her ethereal and unattainable look.
Over the years she has been the cover girl of the editions of Playboy several times: in April 1992 and in March 2001 for the Hungarian edition, while in December 1993 she appeared on the cover of the Australian edition. In May 2003 she appeared on the cover of the Italian magazine Excelsior.
