Oh BTW, most of these pics posted are not what she really looked like at 37, and many are dated. I have a pic that was more recent and you can see a significant difference and see how she used software to change her image to be more Anime-like to become CK.

There is so much mystery surrounding DD that we will probably never know the real story behind her life and death. No obit or funeral was ever announced publicly... probably because of how she died and her desire to be a very private person. She created this character CK, as a way to partly disguise her true identity as she was recognized in public she told me, and it was an effort to create an Anime looking character using her own face as the foundation for the character. She was a very beautiful woman even for 37... and 37 is still considered young. She was not into creating an image that would sexualize young girls and mainstream this look which was suggested to appeal to pedophiles. And it was from this character image that she began to be harassed. It was brought up in her Rolling Stones interview. She explained the situation, but there were groups of more Christian orientation that were terribly critical of her. She never really recovered from that reputation wise. And she continued to press forward with this CK character morphing her image at times too far and too unusual. Her fans were becoming critical. So to combat this to some extent she started having content on her OF page that was CK at times and DD at times. She had fans vote and they preferred DD. Again she was a beautiful woman in real life, and it was the character she dreamed up that became the issue in the end. She had 3 kids, one was step. She was totally misunderstood. And it's really sad this happened because I saw so much raw talent in her. And I encouraged her. I don't know how she made the leap from being herself to ending her life. My hunch and it is only my hunch is that she accidentally OD'ed on either benzos or opiates. Either one combined with alcohol. She was special despite her issues and if only she had reached out to others. But she thought she could handle anything life threw at her, I guess she got that wrong.
