According to a post in YouTube, Azizi Johari passed away just before Christmas 2022.

"She was a friend of mine here in Seattle. I captured most of her life. Her real name is Dorothy Smith. Her father was the first black head football coach for the University of Washington. She passed away just before Christmas in Coronado California in 2022."
