About Daniela Lumbroso

Daniela Lumbroso is a French radio and television host and television producer, born on August 18, 1961, in Tunis.

She entered television in 1984 as a reporter on the TF1 newsroom, where she reported on culture and society for the newscasts.
She left the channel when it was privatized in 1987 and became a presenter and journalist on Antenne 2, initially alongside Jacques Martin on La Lorgnette.
She then hosted numerous programs on the channel, such as Jeux sans frontières (Games Without Borders), Question de charme (Question of Charm) in a duet with Georges Beller, La Machine à chanter (the first karaoke show on television, which she had conceived), and presented the Télématin news in 1993, then the 1 p.m. news in a duet with Gérard Morin during the summer, and Le Magazine de l'emploi (The Job Magazine) until 1994.

In 1994, she joined the newly launched LCI channel and hosted LCA (La culture aussi) for seven years, a live daily talk show on cultural news. From Michel Houellebecq to Pierre Boulez, from Jean d'Ormesson to Angelin Preljocaj, from Doc Gynéco to Lauren Bacall, she received nearly a thousand guests a year.
She was appointed editor-in-chief and head of the culture department in 1997.

At the same time, she produced and hosted the magazine program Culture! on TF1, which alternated with Patrick Poivre d'Arvor's Vol de nuit.
She then continued to host numerous prime-time shows on TF1, including variety specials featuring artists such as Charles Aznavour and Céline Dion, as well as the show Hits d'un jour, hits de toujours.

In 2001, she joined France 2, where she hosted magazine programs (Y'a un début à tout, Les Coulisses du pouvoir, Sacrés pères, Comme au cinéma, etc.) and major evening events such as the Fête de la Musique (Trocadéro in 2002 and 2004, Champ-de-Mars in 2003, Château de Versailles in 2005, Bois de Boulogne in 2009) and the Fête de la chanson française at the Zénith and then at the Olympia.
Daniela Lumbroso at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.

A producer since 2004, her company, Degel Prod, is behind the creation of new program formats, produced for France TV, TF1, Arte, and DTT channels.
