Schlicht comes to USC after competing at Australia’s USC, the University of the Sunshine Coast. She began at the Sunshine Coast following a move from Melbourne, where she had a lengthy recovery from a severe back injury suffered in 2015. She was a bronze medalist in the 100m fly at the 2017 Australian Nationals and was sixth in the race at the 2016 Australian Olympic Trials … She won the 100m fly at the 2015 Australian Age Championships and was fourth in the 200m fly. She also competed at the 2013 Junior World Championships in Dubai.
